Our adult program offers genuine live and personalized classes in Chinese studies and cultural arts in the nature of adult continuing education, professional development and personal enrichment. Our core curriculum for Mandarin and Cantonese follows set syllabuses and each course is systematically advanced to the next level. Our teachers are university graduates, native speakers of the target Chinese and bilingual in English enough to direct and facilitate the flow of the classroom. And because AiCenter is a pioneer school for Chinese, most of our faculty are experienced veterans in the industry of teaching Chinese to students of Romance or Germanic backgrounds. This program has been up and running since 1991 and many of our students have become lasting friends.
In the spirit of holistic learning, AiCenter also offers such recreational courses as Chinese brush painting & calligraphy, Taichi and kungfu as well as tea-tasting and cooking lessons (For upcoming cultural arts, see Culture & Arts.)
