AiCenter Summer Immersion in China is a unique program combining travel with an immersion study program in Chinese Language and an indepth exposition of Chinese music, painting, calligraphy, culinary and martial arts. AiCenter Winter Immersion in China caters to young adults and professions seeking a Chinese induction or a work stint in north China. Our trips (ranging 2 to 4 weeks) are generally focused on the northern central and plains area - Beijing, Hebei, Liaoning and Henan Provinces.  Participants will be housed in homestay arrangements with their teachers and local families and in this way become fully immersed in the everyday of Chinese citizens. Adults will visit work-sites, teach classes and attend seminars, language partnering and work shadowing sessions as part of the program.

In addition, language partner sessions and planned activites with local Chinese (e.g. cooking, shopping, visiting with elders, trip to the post office, etc.) three times a week will immerse students in the rhythm of everyday life and culture in China. Weekly demo-workshops by experts will expose students to a diversity of fields at a professional level including performance and visual arts, taichi, sports, traditional games and crafts.
