Be a Mentor to Chinatown Kids
AiCenter provides a supplimentary academic program for K to12th grade students in New York City. We cater especially to disadvantaged communities in Manhattan’s Lower Eastside - mostly Asian-American children whose parents (from China or East Asia) may have had little or no educaton in the US and therefore unable to provide the necessary guidance or role modelling for their children’s success in mainstream America. To this purpose, we facilitate a mentoring system for our students in addition to formal tutoring and afterschool classes. If you wish and are able to serve as mentor for a youth, please submit a resume to enquiry@wossing.com. Upon review of your profile, we will set you up with a mentee.
